Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in achieving departmental and organizational goals.
• Serve as a Charge Nurse, providing leadership and support for nursing staff and residents.
• Coordinate and deliver comprehensive nursing care to an assigned group of residents during scheduled shifts.
• Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and evaluate resident outcomes to ensure quality care.
• Support patient and family education, promoting understanding of health conditions and treatments.
• Act as a resource and backup support for the nursing team and administrative functions in the absence of the Director.

Required Qualifications

• Active Maine or Compact RN license.
• Minimum of 3 years’ nursing experience.
• BLS certification.
• Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or equivalent.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
