Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Location: Columbus, OH

Schedule / Job Type: Night shifts, rotating weeknights and weekends; rotating holidays; full-time, travel assignment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient nursing care in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown units within a large healthcare organization
• Float between units as needed, maintaining high-quality patient care
• Administer medications, monitor patient progress, and update care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Document patient information accurately in the Epic electronic health record system
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations

Required Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Med-Surg, or Stepdown units (minimum 2 years)
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH certification required
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be comfortable floating to different units within the organization as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Previous travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced, dynamic environment
