Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown
Location: Greensboro, NC
Schedule / Job Type: Days, Full-time, 3x12s, 7a-7p, EOW, float required as needed, holidays included

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to medical neurological patients in a 30-bed Progressive Care unit.
• Monitor patients using centralized cardiac surveillance systems.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Administer medications, perform assessments, and respond to patient needs promptly.
• Ensure compliance with all clinical and safety standards, including required certifications.
• Support cross-facility coverage and float across various units when necessary.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of medical neurological nursing experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certification.
• Successful passing of Pass/Fail EKG exam required for all RN candidates.
• Neuro PCU experience required; familiarity with CVA, external CPAP/BiPAP, TR band, and Yale Swallowing Screen preferred.
• Previous Charge RN experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible day shifts, with availability for holiday and evening coverage during the holiday period.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience in a Medical Neuroscience Progressive Care setting.
• Knowledge of cardiac monitoring and neurological patient care protocols.
• Flexibility to float across different facilities as needed.
