Key Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric nursing care to patients across various mental health conditions, including mood disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in electronic health records.
• Respond to patient needs promptly and ensure a safe, supportive environment.
• Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and crisis interventions.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience.
• BLS certification.
• STARR certification required.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system.
• Ability to work night shifts and float between facilities as needed.
• Willingness to work every other weekend and holidays as required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous charge nurse experience preferred.
• Experience working with adolescents, adults, and pediatric patients.
• Familiarity with handling complex diagnoses such as bipolar disorder, MDD, and substance abuse.
