Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to telemetry patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythm strips, promptly recognizing abnormal rhythms.
• Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and implement care plans under physician orders.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient information accurately within electronic health records.
• Respond effectively to patient needs and emergency situations.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered nurse, preferably in a telemetry or med-surg setting.
• Proficiency in telemetry rhythm interpretation, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work well within a team and handle time-sensitive situations.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification.
• Experience with Cerner electronic medical records.
• Familiarity with IV therapy, medication administration, and patient assessment on med-surg floors.
