Therapist - Respiratory Therapist
Location: Aberdeen, WA
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, 8-week contract, day shifts (12-hour shifts from 5:30 AM to 6:00 PM, 36 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive respiratory care to patients based on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and charting of patient care.
• Follow established protocols and procedures within the scope of respiratory therapy practice.
• Prepare and operate respiratory equipment as needed.
• Respond effectively to acute respiratory situations and emergencies.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Washington State license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
• Ability to work within the scope of practice for respiratory therapists.
• Strong clinical judgment and team collaboration skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Minimum one year of recent acute care experience; new graduates with relevant training may be considered.
• Prior experience with OB-related respiratory care is highly desirable.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds from floor to waist and wheelchair to bed.
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment and patients as needed.
