- Full-time, night shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in an ICU setting, focusing on cardiac, stroke, and telemetry patients.
- Pass and demonstrate proficiency in EKG testing.
- Float to other units, including ED, UCU, and ancillary areas, to support patient care.
- Adhere to facility protocols and maintain compliance with licensing and certification requirements.
- Utilize Epic electronic health record system for documentation and coordination.
- Maintain flexibility with scheduled days off, with no more than three days off preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois RN license.
- Valid CPR and ACLS certifications.
- NIHSS certification.
- Experience with Epic electronic health records.
- Minimum of 3 years of ICU telemedicine experience.
- Ability to pass an EKG test.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience caring for cardiac, stroke, and telemetry patients.
- Prior floating experience to various units including ED and UCU.
- Familiarity with multiple hospital facilities within the area.
