Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a surgical unit with occasional medical overlap based on bed availability
- Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver high-quality nursing services
- Ensure patient safety and comfort in a facility with 35 private patient rooms
- Document patient conditions and treatment plans accurately
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff during night shifts
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Prior nursing experience in a surgical or medical-surgical setting preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a hospital setting with private rooms
- Familiarity with night shift logistics and patient care coordination
