Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and assist with interventional radiology procedures in a clinical setting.
  • Independent work in IR procedure rooms, including taking on-call responsibilities for trauma cases.
  • Support and operate advanced imaging equipment, including GE and Siemens systems.
  • Assist with vascular and non-vascular procedures such as thrombectomy devices, PE/Stroke interventions, TIPS, and angioplasty.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and procedural protocols, maintaining high standards of patient care.
  • Collaborate with medical teams to deliver efficient and effective radiologic services.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology (IR).
  • Vocational or technical training in Radiologic Technology.
  • Valid Radiology MA License.
  • RT (Registered Technologist) with ART (Additional Qualifications/Registrations as necessary).
  • Ability to work independently in IR procedure rooms and handle on-call trauma coverage.
  • Knowledge of GE and Siemens imaging systems.
  • Experience with scrub and circulator roles during procedures.
  • Extensive knowledge of thrombectomy devices, PE/Stroke interventions, and angio procedures like TIPS and angioplasty.

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Familiarity with advanced thrombectomy and neurovascular procedures.
  • Previous experience working in a hospital IR department.
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced, high-pressure environments.

Additional Notes

  • Flu vaccine required prior to start.
  • Orientation is held weekly (every Monday, barring holidays).
  • Guaranteed 72 hours per biweekly pay period; on-call hours are supplemental.
  • Candidates must provide available interview dates/times at submission.
  • No recent or current employees of the facility within the last six months will be considered.
  • Parking may cost up to $43/day.
