Key Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures within a busy operating room environment
- Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and sterile field
- Support surgical team with instrument handling and patient safety
- Ensure compliance with sterile techniques and safety protocols
- Collaborate with nurses and surgeons to ensure smooth procedures
- Maintain documentation and assist with post-operative procedures when needed
Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential
- Minimum of 2 years of surgical tech experience in OR settings
- Knowledge of various surgical procedures including ortho, neuro, cardio-thoracic, gen, GYN, vascular, and trauma cases
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in multiple surgical specialties such as neuro, ortho, and vascular
- TNCC certification (preferred but not required)
- Calm and professional demeanor suited for high-pressure settings
