Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat a variety of adult patient diagnoses in inpatient and skilled nursing facility settings.
• Provide therapy services for patients with conditions such as general deconditioning, total joint replacements, post-op orthopedic and neuro diagnoses, and medical-surgical cases.
• Support multiple facilities, including SNFs, by floating to required locations and providing skilled therapy services.
• Utilize electronic medical records systems such as EPIC, Casamba, or NetHealth for documentation and clinical care.
• Adhere to safety and equipment protocols, including proper use of facility tools and documentation standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Minnesota Occupational Therapy License or willingness to obtain.
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Experience with inpatient and SNF environments preferred.
• Proficiency in EPIC or similar electronic medical records systems.
• Must be able to float to multiple units and perform both inpatient and LTC support.
• Willing to work full-time days with no weekends or call required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• At least 1 year of recent experience in an acute care setting within the past 3 years.
• Experience with general medical-surgical, orthopedic, and neuro diagnoses.
• Knowledge of workflows in hospital and SNF environments.
• Previous work experience with Sanford Health preferred; must specify in submission if applicable with an end date at least 6 months prior to application.
