Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct, individualized nursing care to medical-surgical patients based on scientific nursing principles.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in coordination with healthcare team members.
• Administer prescribed medications via oral, subcutaneous, IV, and report any adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and their families about surgical procedures and post-treatment care.
• Record and monitor vital signs, medical information, and utilize specialized equipment.
• Respond to life-saving emergencies following nursing protocols.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, including dressing changes, catheter insertion, and IV starts.
• Participate in discharge planning and patient education to promote recovery and self-care.

Required Qualifications

• Current Wyoming RN license or multi-state RN license (attached to resume).
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 2 years recent Med/Surg experience in a hospital setting.
• Ability to float between facilities based on census needs.
• Experience handling pediatric/adolescent patients preferred but not required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a hospital environment with diverse patient populations.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems.
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
