Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) during surgical procedures
- Assist with pre-operative assessments and post-operative care for cardiac surgery patients
- Collaborate with surgical teams, including RNs and surgical technicians, to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Utilize Meditech EMR system for documentation and patient records
- Support procedures such as CABG, AVR, MVR, and TAVR in a 2-bed Heart Room unit
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent CVOR experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment with confidence
- Availability to work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Meditech EMR system
- Knowledge of ECMO program procedures and protocols
