Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) during open-heart surgeries.
• Float to General Operating Room as needed to support various surgical cases.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Maintain and update patient records accurately and promptly.
• Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient management.
• Support on-call duties, including CVOR-specific call responsibilities and holiday coverage.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of two years' recent open-heart (CVOR) surgical experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience with DaVinci Robot or robotic-assisted procedures.
• Valid nursing license for the state of Ohio.
• Ability to work 36 hours per week, including every 3rd to 4th weekend.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Minimal return-to-office (RTO) restrictions for upcoming holidays.
• Willingness to work and take call during holiday periods.
• Strong teamwork and adaptability in a fast-paced surgical environment.
