Key Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures including neurointerventional, vascular, and other specialized interventions.
• Assist with procedures such as Dialysis work, nephrostomies, arteriograms, embolizations, Y-90 treatments, G-tubes, TIPS, and Inari cases.
• Support cerebral arteriograms, coilings, pipelines, mechanical thrombectomies, and vertebroplasties.
• Scrub and circulate during procedures while maintaining sterile field and adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient and safe patient care.
• Maintain documentation in accordance with department policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Special Procedures Tech in Radiology, particularly in IR and neurointerventional procedures.
• Valid BLS certification.
• Prior experience with neurointerventional procedures such as cerebral arteriograms, coilings, and thrombectomies.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Flexibility and adaptability to shift schedules, including weekends and on-call responsibilities.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Vascular or Cath Lab experience.
• Experience with angiography and embolization procedures.
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR or similar systems.
• Strong procedural skills in specialized radiology settings.
