Key Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient occupational therapy services to adult patients in a rehabilitation setting.
• Implement treatment plans for neurological and orthopedic conditions, including CVA, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, hip fractures, and knee replacements.
• Utilize modalities such as electrical stimulation and ultrasound to aid patient recovery.
• Assess patients using tools like cognitive assessments, FIM, and functional evaluations.
• Document evaluations, plans of care, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately in the electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid state license to practice occupational therapy in Illinois (application in process with ETA acceptable).
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant outpatient adult therapy experience.
• BLS certification.
• Active IL license or in-process license with ETA.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Certification in neuro and lymphedema therapy preferred.
• Experience with neurological rehabilitation, orthopedic cases, and manual therapy skills.
• Knowledge of safety, transfer techniques, and patient/family education.
