Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill newborns in a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
- Attend all deliveries and high-risk deliveries, ensuring rapid response to emergent needs.
- Perform procedures such as breathing treatments, chest tube setup and care, CPAP/BiPAP management.
- Administer sedation, RSI (Rapid Sequence Intubation), and manage cooling/warming blankets.
- Manage drains, feeding tubes, PICC and central lines, and syringe pumps.
- Support patients in GYN surgeries, couplet care, and transition nursery settings.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license with active compact license (all non-Swedish candidates eligible if separated for at least 3 months; Swedish facilities honor active license).
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program).
- Prior experience in NICU or neonatal care preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with unstable newborns (32 weeks and greater).
- Familiarity with neonatal procedures such as intubation, chest tube management, and central line care.
- Ability to work in a float capacity to postpartum and L&D units.

Note:
Candidates eligible for travel contracts must have been separated for at least 3 months if coming from a facility outside of Sweden. All Swedish facilities honor active compact licenses.
