Key Responsibilities
- Perform specialized cardiac procedures in the Cath Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) suite.
- Assist physicians during interventional and diagnostic cardiac procedures.
- Ensure proper operation and troubleshooting of EP and cath lab equipment.
- Document procedures accurately in electronic medical records, with EPIC experience preferred.
- Adhere to safety protocols and prepare the procedure environment for optimal patient care.
- Coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure smooth workflow during shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of EP Tech experience.
- ARRT certification (CI, V, or R accepted); Kentucky state certification (KMBIRT) can be pending at time of submission.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Experience with EPIC EMR system highly preferred.
- Willingness to travel highly preferred.
- Excellent patient care and communication skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a cath lab or EP lab setting.
- Knowledge of cardiac procedures and sterile techniques.
- Ability to work independently and handle high-stress situations.
