• Full-time, 4x10-hour shifts (Afternoon Mids, 1:00 PM – 11:30 PM), Mids

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CT scan equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures on various patient groups, including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Apply prescribed ionizing radiation in accordance with hospital policies, ensuring radiation safety practices at all times
• Select appropriate technical factors to minimize re-exposure, adhering to equipment guidelines and safety standards
• Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, alleviate apprehension, and provide compassionate care
• Maintain accurate documentation using MediTech and other required systems
• Demonstrate independent judgment and initiative during technical procedures, with knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology (AMA approved program)
• BLS certification
• IEMA licensure or compliance for radiologic procedures
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in CT imaging
• Experience with GE CT scanners
• Proficient in IV starts, phlebotomy, PACS, and contrast procedures
• Able to work in outpatient, inpatient, ER, Level I Trauma, and ICU settings
• Must be able to work in scrubs (black)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a trauma or emergency setting
• Familiarity with pediatric and geriatric patient care considerations
• Prior experience with radiation safety protocols and cross-sectional anatomy knowledge
