Key Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient, outpatient, and ER ultrasound procedures, including general abdominal, OB, small parts, kidney, and vascular scans.
• Operate equipment such as PACS and portable devices to conduct diagnostic imaging.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures performed using the hospital’s charting system.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure high-quality patient care during ultrasounds.
• Work approximately 15 cases per day, adhering to safety and procedural protocols.
• Participate in on-call rotation for weekend coverage as part of the weekend day shift schedule.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of ultrasound technologist experience.
• Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT (S) or ARDMS).
• BLS certification.
• Radiation badge provided by staffing agency; hospital does not provide badges for travelers.
• Proficiency with PACS, portable ultrasound equipment, and general ultrasound procedures.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with vascular and small parts ultrasound.
• Ability to accommodate a block schedule with prior approval.
• Knowledge of Epic charting system is a plus.
