Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiovascular Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (CVPICU) for critically ill pediatric patients.
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Document patient progress and ensure safety protocols are consistently followed.
- Respond quickly to emergencies and support families during difficult times.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent pediatric nursing experience, specifically in a PICU or cardiovascular ICU setting.
- Valid and current nursing license in accordance with NLC guidelines.
- BSN preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center or children’s hospital environment.
- Strong clinical assessment skills in pediatric critical care.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
