Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients in labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn units.
• Circulate during vaginal and cesarean deliveries, including OR procedures.
• Administer blood products, IVs, medications, and manage special equipment such as epidural pumps and PCA pumps.
• Monitor fetal heart rate and respond to patient and fetal needs in high-risk and low-risk obstetric cases.
• Support couplet care and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout labor and postpartum processes.
• Document patient care and collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Valid and active compact RN license in the state of Washington.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, OB Triage, or Newborn Care.
• Current certifications: BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate or equivalent.
• Ability to circulate during deliveries and manage high-risk obstetric situations.
• Experience with IV starts, blood administration, and use of specialized OB equipment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM).
• Ability to float as needed to various obstetric units.
• Strong patient advocacy and teamwork skills.
