Registered Nurse - PACU
Location: Columbus, OH
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, night shifts
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide postoperative nursing care to patients in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
- Monitor patient vital signs and anesthesia recovery progress
- Collaborate with medical teams to ensure safe and effective patient recovery
- Administer medications and manage pain as prescribed
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies during recovery
- Document patient assessments and care activities accurately
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification or training
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Experience in a Level 1 Trauma setting
- Telemetry and ventilator management experience
- Prior PACU or perioperative nursing experience
