Key Responsibilities
- Provide basic nursing care to residents in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with facility policies.
- Observe and document resident conditions and respond to changes appropriately.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
- Maintain compliance with all licensing and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid LVN or LPN license for the state of Alaska.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a long-term care or SNF setting.
- BLS certification.
- Prior experience with LTC or skilled nursing facility protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel or temporary nursing assignments.
- Knowledge of electronic charting systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
