Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in a cardiology outpatient clinic focusing on electrophysiology and cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Assist with and monitor cardiac procedures including ablations, LAAO, and pacing.
- Interpret EKG/ECG to identify arrhythmias such as AV blocks and bradycardia.
- Perform cardiac monitoring, synchronized cardioversion, and pacing procedures.
- Educate patients on lifestyle modifications, medication adherence, and post-procedure care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- RN license in the state of Washington.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an EP lab or cath lab setting.
- Proficiency in EKG/ECG interpretation, including arrhythmia recognition.
- Experience with cardiac monitoring, synchronized cardioversion, pacing, and ablation procedures.
- Reliable personal transportation (public transportation not accepted).
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Familiarity with GLP-1 therapies in AFib management.
- Experience in risk factor modification or device clinics.
- Strong patient education skills, especially regarding medication and lifestyle adherence.
