Full-time, Days, 3 - 12 hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit adhering to hospital policies and standards.
- Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms, ensuring patient safety and appropriate responses.
- Utilize Epic electronic charting system to document patient care accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.
- Maintain compliance with all departmental protocols and quality standards.
- Participate in orientation assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety testing.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months recent experience in Medical Surgical and Telemetry units.
- Ohio license or valid Compact State license in hand.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- Recent (within the last 6 months) Epic charting experience.
- Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and medication safe assessments.
- One recent reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty.
- Willingness to work at least every other holiday.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working as a Charge RN.
- Experience working in a hospital with Epic electronic health records.
