- Travel, Nights shift, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit for medical-surgical and step-down patients.
- Monitor patient status using telemetry and bedside monitors, ensuring timely response to changes.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately in the EMR system.
- Float to other units as needed, maintaining flexibility and team support.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in North Carolina or a compact state.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Progressive Care or Stepdown experience.
- Proficiency in telemetry monitoring.
- Ability to work night shifts and travel as a traveler nurse.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Recent experience in a similar IMC, PCU, or Stepdown setting.
- Experience with Cerner EMR.
- Positive attitude, compassionate, team-oriented, and patient-focused.
