Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of laboratory tests in chemistry, blood bank, hematology, and microbiology.
• Conduct quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and patients regarding test outcomes.
• Operate and maintain clinical laboratory instrumentation.
• Provide guidance and supervision to Medical Laboratory Assistants as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field.
• Must be board eligible by NCA or ASCP and complete certification within one year of employment.
• One to three years of related experience or a formal student internship in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Certification at MT by American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or CLS by National Accrediting Agency (NCA).
• Ability to work independently and manage laboratory tasks efficiently.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in chemistry, blood bank, hematology, and microbiology.
• Familiarity with clinical laboratory instrumentation.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a laboratory setting.
