Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy assistant services to residents in a skilled nursing facility.
- Assist licensed therapists in implementing treatment plans.
- Monitor and report patient progress and document sessions accurately.
- Support patients with therapeutic activities to improve their daily living skills.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations.
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Valid certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
- Current state licensure or registration as required.
- Previous experience working in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to assist with patient treatments and documentation.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a long-term care or SNF setting.
- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations.
