Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, 13-week assignment, Night shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the ICU, PCU, or step-down units.
- Monitor patient conditions closely, including cardiac status, and respond to emergencies.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered by physicians.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Follow hospital policies and safety protocols to maintain a safe environment.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in IMC, PCU, or step-down units.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a travel assignment.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with cardiac patients and telemetry monitoring.
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
