- Night shifts, 13-week travel assignment, On-site
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care for laboring patients in a busy labor and delivery unit
- Interpret fetal monitoring and manage high-risk antepartum cases
- Assist with active labor management, C-section procedures, and postpartum care
- Support procedures such as circumcisions, bili light therapy, and lab draws from mother and baby
- Administer magnesium for pre-eclamptic patients and ensure patient safety through bedside reporting and safety rounding
- Maintain documentation in Meditech and CPN systems, ensuring compliance with hospital policies
Required Qualifications
- Valid Fetal Monitor Certification
- Experience with fetal monitor interpretation and high-risk antepartum care
- Proficiency in active labor management and C-section procedures
- Skills in postpartum care, circumcision assistance, and neonatal lab draws
- Ability to administer magnesium for pre-eclamptic patients
Preferred Experience / Skills
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- BLS certification
- Experience with ultrasound procedures and antepartum testing
- Knowledge of hospital-specific protocols and team-based care
