Key Responsibilities
• Assist surgeons during a variety of surgical procedures in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced surgical equipment, including DaVinci, Mako, and CORI robots.
• Ensure the sterile field and proper patient positioning are maintained throughout procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to facilitate efficient and safe operations.
• Document procedures accurately within hospital systems.
• Provide exceptional patient care before, during, and after surgeries.
Required Qualifications
• Certified Surgical Assistant licensure (LCSA).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CST or ORT with first assist responsibilities.
• Expertise with DaVinci Robot, Mako Robot, and other advanced surgical technologies.
• Ability to perform procedures including general, GYN, urology, total hips/knees, spine, and C-section surgeries.
• Strong knowledge of surgical protocols and safety standards.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience in multiple surgical specialties excluding open-heart procedures.
• Familiarity with Meditech Expanse documentation systems.
• Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
