Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, travel, night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to post-operative and general medical-surgical patients.
- Monitor and maintain patient drains, IVs, and wound care procedures.
- Assist with dressing changes, drain management, and other bedside procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient progress accurately in the EMR system.
- Advocate for patients and support a positive hospital experience.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant medical-surgical experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Familiarity with post-operative patient care
- Competent in wound care, dressing changes, and drain management
- Experience working with Baxter IV pumps, Medfusion pumps, and SCDs
- Knowledge of Meditech EMR system
