Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Monitor fetal and maternal health, ensuring safety and comfort during labor.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Administer medications and perform necessary procedures according to protocols.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with hospital standards.
- Support patients and families through education and emotional support during childbirth.
Required Qualifications
- Valid registered nurse (RN) license in the state of Virginia.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system.
- Ability to work day shifts, including weekends as needed.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working with travelers or in a fast-paced hospital environment.
- Knowledge of current labor and delivery practices and protocols.
