Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts, travel assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages
- Monitor FHR, fetal activity, and maternal vital signs to ensure patient safety
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient conditions and treatments accurately in electronic medical records
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies during labor and delivery
- Follow proper procedures for infection control and patient safety protocols
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of West Virginia
- Minimum of 2 years labor and delivery experience
- American Heart Association (AHA) approved certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, FHM, AWHONN
- Ability to work flexible night shifts and adhere to scheduling requirements
- Current flu vaccination for the 2024-2025 flu season (October 2024 - March 2025)
- Experience with CernER preferred
- Must clock in and out for payment purposes
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working in a hospital environment
- Knowledge of labor and delivery protocols and patient care standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
