Tech Perfusionist

- Day shift, Contract (13-20 weeks for holiday coverage)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized perfusion services for surgical procedures, including trauma cases in a Level 1 trauma center.
- Ensure continuity of patient care during cardiac surgeries by operating extracorporeal circulation equipment.
- Collaborate with surgical teams and anesthesia providers to support complex procedures.
- Maintain and troubleshoot perfusion equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Adhere to hospital policies, including floating policies across units and campuses as needed.
- Comply with all documentation and competency requirements for assigned tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Clinical Perfusionist certification (ABCP)
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- At least 5 years of clinical perfusion experience
- Experience working in a Level 1 trauma hospital and teaching hospital settings
- Flexibility to work various contract lengths and holiday shifts
