Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the IMC, PCU, and stepdown units, closely monitoring patient status.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Document patient information accurately using electronic health records.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies.
• Float to other units as needed, with occasional cross-unit responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in a similar setting.
• Active RN license.
• Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS.
• Willing to work two weekends per pay period.
• No previous ICU or stepdown experience required, first-time travelers welcome.
• No on-call required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with adult patient populations.
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced hospital environment.
