Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele
Location: Winston-Salem, NC
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, 12-hour night shifts, float required, every other weekend

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care on a 24-bed Med/Surg/Tele overflow unit with a 1:6 patient-to-nurse ratio.
• Monitor telemetry and respond to dysrhythmias accurately, with support from telemetry techs.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders using unit systems such as Pyxis and Epic.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a remarkable patient experience and optimal care outcomes.
• Participate in 36 hours of hospital orientation during the first week, including daily classes.
• Adhere to unit procedures, including scrubs in navy blue and compliance with all safety protocols.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience, specifically within a Med/Surg or Telemetry setting.
• Experience working in a telemetry unit and treating dysrhythmias.
• BCLS certification.
• Ability to pass EKG testing prior to start date.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Prior telemetry and cardiac care experience preferred.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, diverse team environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
