Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized neonatal intensive care to newborns in a Level III or IV NICU setting
- Monitor and manage high-risk deliveries, including infants as small as 23-24 weeks gestation
- Administer blood products, medications, and life support therapies such as CPAP/BiPAP, high-frequency vents, and oscillators
- Perform procedures including PICC/Central line placements, feeding tube management, and neonatal resuscitation
- Attend high-risk deliveries and participate in neonatal surgeries when required
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and float to different units including Issaquah, Edmonds, or Pediatrics/NBN as needed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of NICU experience
- Active and valid nursing license in the state of Washington; compact license preferred for active status
- Experience in Level III or IV NICU, caring for infants 23-24 weeks gestation
- Knowledge of neonatal high-acuity care equipment and procedures
- Ability to float between different campuses and units with minimal supervision
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with neonatal resuscitation and advanced life support techniques
- Familiarity with neonatal surgeries and high-risk delivery procedures
- Block scheduling availability (3 or more consecutive days preferred)
