Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care within the Emergency Psychiatric Services department.
- Develop, update, and implement individualized, interdisciplinary care plans.
- Evaluate patient outcomes and modify care plans accordingly.
- Assess and utilize resources to support patient recovery and safety.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive mental health treatment.
- Maintain accurate documentation and communication regarding patient progress.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher.
- Valid Maine RN license.
- BLS certification.
- Current CPI training prior to starting.
- At least one year of mental health nursing experience.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in psychiatric or behavioral healthcare settings.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to manage stress and make decisions under pressure.
- Flexibility to cover 24/7 shifts, including nights.
