Job Title:
Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Location:
Columbus, OH
Schedule / Job Type:
Full-time, night shifts, 14-week assignment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room setting during night shifts
- Proficiently initiate IV starts and monitor telemetry for patients
- Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver prompt and effective emergency care
- Assess patient conditions, prioritize treatments, and document accurately in electronic health records
- Respond to emergency situations swiftly and efficiently, following established protocols
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of ED nursing experience
- Current BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
- EPIC electronic health records system experience
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Oncology experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to float between units as needed during the assignment
