Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures.
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, troubleshooting technical issues as needed.
• Document patient information and imaging details accurately in the EMR system.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver high-quality imaging services.

Required Qualifications

• ARRT or ARMRIT certification in MRI.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Experience with Phillips MRI systems.
• Prior experience in a teaching hospital setting.
• Epic EMR experience within the past two years.
• Flexibility to work 2 out of 4 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Day).
• Ability to work 1-2 weekends per month.
• Must be willing to work in a travel capacity, with attention to schedules and holiday requirements.
• Reliable transportation is required; personal or rental vehicle recommended, especially during winter months.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel MRI experience preferred.
• Experience working in a hospital environment with diverse patient populations.
• Ability to work without block schedules and adapt to shift changes.
