Key Responsibilities
- Float to various Intermediate Care (IMC), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), and Stepdown units as needed.
- Provide patient care for individuals with active oncology diagnoses, hematology conditions, or other complex medical issues.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, manage telemetry and other emergency responses.
- Administer medications, including IV therapies, blood products, and chemo protocols.
- Support patients with respiratory equipment such as CPAP, BIPAP, and oxygen therapy.
- Ensure safety in a secure corrections environment, adhering to protocols and collaborating with correctional staff.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN licensure in Ohio.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- EPIC electronic health record (EHR) experience.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Oncology or Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience preferred but not required.
- Experience with cardiac monitoring, IV therapy, and complex patient management.
- Ability to adapt to working within a correctional facility environment.
