Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive emergency care to adult and pediatric patients in the ER setting.
• Perform advanced clinical procedures including IV starts and telemetry monitoring.
• Assess patient conditions, develop care plans, and collaborate with medical team members.
• Monitor and respond to patient needs promptly, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital policies and protocols.
• Support patient families with compassionate communication and education.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency department experience.
• Valid nursing license in the state of Ohio.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system.
• Current BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification.
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Oncology experience is a plus but not required.
• Experience working with telemetry monitoring.
