Key Responsibilities

• Provide age-specific, direct patient care in the Emergency Room setting.
• Utilize the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Lead and delegate tasks to other healthcare team members, ensuring compliance with patient care standards.
• Ensure clinical practice aligns with departmental, state, and federal healthcare regulations.
• Maintain up-to-date certifications and skills required for emergency nursing.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of Vermont.
• Active BLS and ACLS certification prior to start date.
• PALS or ENPC certification required to be active before contract commencement.
• Ability to provide immediate certification or booked course at orientation if needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in Emergency Room or Acute Care setting.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
