Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in the Electrophysiology and Interventional Labs for cardiac procedures.
- Assist with complex procedures such as ablations, pacemaker and ICD implantations and removals, lead extractions, and arrhythmia studies.
- Monitor and manage critical care medication drips and patient vital signs during procedures.
- Document procedures and patient responses accurately in the EPIC and MacLab systems.
- Support a patient-centered environment with a focus on safety and comfort throughout procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of critical care or electrophysiology nursing experience.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Experience with cardiac procedures including ablations, device implants, and lead extractions.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume cath lab setting.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with EP labs and electrophysiology procedures.
- Knowledge of bio-sensing and advanced mapping technologies (e.g., Boston Scientific, BioSense Webster Carto, Medtronic).
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic documentation systems.
