Key Responsibilities
• Provide outpatient medical oncology care for patients with solid tumors and palliative diagnoses
• Collaborate with healthcare team to review treatment plans via Epic Beacon and other systems
• Perform telephone triage and symptom screening, including distress assessments
• Manage treatment-related procedures, including port access and medication administration (chemo is preferred but not mandatory)
• Coordinate patient visits, ensuring accurate documentation and communication with pharmacies
• Float between clinics as needed, providing flexible, patient-centered care
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in oncology or related field
• Active and valid nursing license for the state of Washington
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
• Chemo certification (preferred), OCN certification (preferred)
• Experience with outpatient oncology treatments, Epic systems, and telephone triage
• Clean, professional attire (any color scrubs)
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Certification in chemotherapy and biotherapy (ONCC/ONS)
• Experience with outpatient infusion and palliative care
• Familiarity with port access procedures and outpatient treatment protocols
