Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Location: Asheville, NC
Schedule / Job Type: Travel, Day Shift, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to laboring patients in a busy labor and delivery unit.
• Monitor fetal and maternal well-being using electronic fetal monitoring equipment.
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and other obstetric procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Uphold unit policies and ensure safety standards are maintained.
• Document patient progress accurately in the electronic health record system.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina or appropriate compact license.
• At least 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• High-risk obstetric experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification.
• Ability to float to MFMU, MOMB, or NICU as needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Circulating nurse experience in obstetrics.
• Strong communication and adaptable personality.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor suited for a team-oriented environment.
