Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate nursing care to patients in labor and delivery, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs and progression during labor.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and execute individualized care plans.
- Assist with childbirth and postpartum procedures.
- Document patient care accurately using electronic health record systems.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and provide necessary interventions.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, especially in labor and delivery or maternal health.
- Ability to work night shifts reliably.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in critical access or small hospital settings.
- Familiarity with Epic charting system.
- Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule, including weekend shifts.
