Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Days Shift

Key Responsibilities
• Draw blood specimens from patients in a hospital setting, ensuring proper technique and patient care.
• Collect and process specimens according to department protocols and standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation of collection details in electronic medical records.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures.
• Float to various units as needed, performing tasks for which competencies are documented.
• Follow Prisma Health floating policies, including eligibility and mileage requirements.

Required Qualifications
• Prior Trauma Level 1 experience.
• Recent travel experience—no first-time travelers accepted.
• Minimum of 1 year of EPIC electronic health record experience.
• Certified in BLS (Basic Life Support).
• Phlebotomy certification from an NPS, ASCP, AMT, ASPT, NHA, ACA, NCCT, NPCE, NPA, NAPT, NHO or equivalent organization.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team across multiple units.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
